MOTS-c
MOTS-c is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that acts as a powerful metabolic regulator. It activates AMPK pathways (the same pathway activated by exercise), enhances glucose uptake and utilization, improves insulin sensitivity, and promotes fatty acid oxidation. Often called an "exercise mimetic," MOTS-c helps the body utilize energy more efficiently and has shown promise in metabolic syndrome and age-related metabolic decline.

Goals
Dosing Protocol
5-10 mg per injection (50-100 units). With standard reconstitution (10 mg in 1 mL), 0.1 mg per unit — 50 units = 5 mg, 100 units = 10 mg on a U-100 insulin syringe. Run as a cycle: 1 injection every 5 days for 20 days. 3x annually. Lower dose (5 mg) requires 2 bottles per cycle; higher dose (10 mg) requires 4 bottles per cycle. If type 2 diabetic, 1 mg every other day to lower blood sugars.
Reconstitution
Add 1 mL bacteriostatic water to a 10 mg vial.
Timing
Morning, on workout days take 30-60 minutes pre-exercise.
