5-Amino-1MQ

5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule that inhibits the enzyme NNMT (nicotinamide N-methyltransferase), which plays a key role in energy metabolism and fat storage. By blocking NNMT, this compound increases NAD+ levels in fat cells, reactivating cellular metabolism and promoting fat loss while preserving and potentially increasing lean muscle mass. Taken orally, making it one of the few non-injectable peptide-adjacent compounds.
