FOXO4-DRI

FOXO4-DRI is a synthetic peptide that disrupts the interaction between FOXO4 and p53 proteins in senescent (aged, damaged) cells. Senescent cells accumulate with age and secrete inflammatory factors that damage surrounding tissue. By blocking the FOXO4-p53 interaction, this peptide causes senescent cells to undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death) while leaving healthy cells unaffected. This selective clearance has shown rejuvenating effects in preclinical studies.
